We choose to have a “no rice” dinner one night and headed to where famous big burgers are served, at Perri Todd’s All-American Burger in Jaro (Iloilo City). Our first attempt to dine in the place was not successful because the bistro was jammed packed. Now on our second try, we had our luck! Of course, we ordered the famous Perri Todd’s Grilled Burger, we settled for the plain one without addons. It is the usual burger but as big as your plate and can be served to at least four people. (Now I cannot eat that alone!) It got fresh veggies inside and that juicy patty with good dressing. Definitely, it made our stomach full.
Regular Perri Todd’s Grilled Burger
Since we wanted to have a dinner, we did not settle for just the burger. We fixed on having a chicken to add on our meal. The Perri Todd’s Sizzling Chicken left me awed with its great taste. The tender chicken meat with creamy citrus sauce sizzles on a hot plate with sweet corn and baked potatoes on the sides (my mouth waters with every thought of it
). The baked potatoes are just the perfect side for these tasty poulets. The good smell surrounds the whole place and everyone turns towards that mouth-watering smell of sizzling chicken. Overall, every taste of the chicken meat, the baked potatoes and the creamy citrus sauce blends well in each chew.

Perri Todd’s Carbonara
But of course we did not stop there. (Not so hungry, huh??) We had a plate of pasta Carbonara. Alas, we were not that contented with the taste. Although the pasta was just right, the sauce is not creamy enough to cover the whole noodles and the flavor is not similar to a normal milky sweet taste of Carbonara. Still, the thinly cut garlic bread with buttery garlic tang all over the toasted bread was yummy.
Having those three dishes for one dinner is worth it. We had a tasty meal with full stomachs and a takeout (Hey! There is only two of us against these three heavy meals
).
