Cakes are really sinful desserts. They make you want to lose your diet and indulge in their sweet tastes. I admit I am a sweet tooth person; pastries and cakes simply enthuses me. I love to try desserts in restaurants that we dine at and Bluejay is no exception.
I got the chance to try three of their delectable desserts: the Carrot Walnut Cake, Crème Brulee and L’ Opera. Generally, these are all good tasting cakes that makes one come back again for a second try.
Ever since I had a taste of a carrot cupcake, I simply made it as one of my top list of favorite pastries. I am not really a fanatic of carrots but a carrot cake is just right in filling my craving for something sweet.
Bluejay Carrot Walnut Cake
Now that I had a good taste of Bluejay’s Carrot Walnut Cake, I must say it was indeed better than what I regularly eat. It has a good tang of carrot mixed with walnut pieces in a moist chiffon cake topped with creamy icing.
Bluejay Crème Brulee
What else could be sweeter than a creamy Crème Brulee that literally makes your mouth water? (Crème Brulee is a French term for burnt cream.)
The first time I tried a Crème Brulee was actually at Bluejay and I was awed by its sweet taste. It is made of smooth custard cream topped with hard caramel and presented in a small sized white stylish bowl.
Bluejay’s L’Opera
Who doesn’t want a chocolate cake with almonds? Bluejay’s L’Opera is a rich chocolate cake with bits of almonds. It is layered simultaneously with chocolate cream and almond chiffon. The almond pieces do not actually affect the overall softness of the cake hence, every bite of it still remains smooth in the mouth.
These three delicious desserts are available at any Bluejay’s branches. I personally enjoy them in the luxury of a comfortable seat at Bluejay. If you have the chance, try having a taste of their good desserts. (Of course, I will keep coming back for their Crème Brulee.
